1. You may become obese and
most likely to get sick:
When watching TV, using a
phone/mobile or computer, or playing a video game, you sit still in one
place. There is no physical exercise like running, cycling, or any field exercise.
People who do not exercise properly gain weight and their health is affected.
Thus, when you watch TV for a long time, you see advertisements for cold
drinks, oil products, ice cream, and chocolate. After seeing this, you also feel
the urge to eat it. This increases the risk of ill health
2. You can be sad, angry, or
aggressive.
Some TV programs or movies
whose characters make you angry or sad.
It
often happens that these feelings persist for a while even after the program or
movie ends. When you see scenes of violence, you also feel that you have to
resort to violence. The more time you spend on TV, mobile or computer, the
longer you will be away from your family or friends. Constantly watching TV
will make you feel lonely. You may regret not being able to purchase the TV
commercials that you do not have.
3. You will feel tired:
You do not fall asleep
quickly after spending too much time in front of the TV, mobile, or computer
screen. Even after these devices are turned off, the light of the screen
remains in your mind for some time. Lack of adequate sleep makes you feel
tired.
4. You may find yourself in
trouble:
Spending too much time in
front of a TV, mobile, computer, or video game screen increases stress on your
brain. This can sometimes cause headaches. Repeatedly changing TV channels also
creates a kind of tension. Repeatedly pressing or using mobile video or
computer buttons can cause pain in your fingers and wrists. Similarly, if you
do not keep your back straight or use these devices with your neck down, you
may have back and neck pain.
If you want to protect
yourself from such effects, do the following:
· Don't watch TV for more than two
hours a day.
· Instead of watching TV or playing
video games for long periods of time, do whatever you like. Like reading books,
taking pictures, singing songs, or going out and playing with friends.
· As far as possible, don't eat
anything while watching TV.
· Only watch programs or movies
that make you happy. Avoid watching violent, violent movies.
· If you are playing a video or a
computer game, take a break or take a short walk every 15 to 20 minutes. Do
light exercise on the fingers and neck.
· Rinse the eyes with cold water or turn them
off.
· Stop watching TV or playing
electronic games at least an hour before going to bed at night.
